We Need to Talk

In 2016, I developed We Need to Talk alongside collaborators Arianna Gass and Daniel Park. A mixture between D&D, a theatre show, and a game show, it sought to turn the stressful act of breaking up with a partner into a game. The goal was to allow people to act out the situation in a safe space, and to help them do it in a healthy way.

The show involved having an audience member coming up to the stage to break up with Daniel or myself, using a mixture of mechanics, audience participation, and role playing. We did a live show in Philadelphia and Boston.
